Agents can carry out what a card's task asks of Obeya

Shared on October 18, 2026

When a card's task asked Obeya itself for something, like creating a canvas for a new repository, the card's agent used to be turned down. It then had to ask you to say the same thing again on the card. Now the task text counts as your words when you wrote or dictated the card, or when you accepted an agent's proposal for it. The agent can pass the request on, and Obeya carries it out right away. A proposal you haven't accepted yet still can't make requests of Obeya, so agents can't use one to give themselves orders.
