Discarding a prototype no longer holds up Obeya

Shared by Daniel Sadilek on October 22, 2026

In a large repository, or with clones on another machine, git can take many seconds to give a workspace back: cleaning a discarded prototype's clone, removing a finished card's worktree, renaming a branch. Until now no canvas answered while it ran. Now git does this in the background: the card moves at once and you can keep working, and the workspace becomes free for the next card as soon as git is done.
