Pull requests no longer stall, and say what they wait for

Shared by Daniel Sadilek on November 2, 2026

Obeya no longer leaves a pull request unmerged after a clean review just because the agent thanked the reviewer. Only a comment that mentions someone counts as a request for another review. When a task needs pull requests in several repositories, Obeya now watches and merges all of them, and the task goes live only once every one is merged. Each pull request also shows what it is still waiting for: checks, open comments, a fresh review, the reviewer's answer or branch protection.

A reviewer's request for changes holds the merge

Obeya no longer merges a pull request while a reviewer's request for changes is open. A review with "Request changes" holds the merge until that reviewer approves or the request is dismissed. When the agent answers a plain comment asking for a change without changing the code, Obeya waits for that reviewer's reply, even though nobody was mentioned.
