Links in agent messages open with a plain click in the app
In the Obeya desktop app, a plain click on a link in a conversation (a demo link, a pull request) did nothing; only Cmd+click opened it. Now a plain click opens it in the default browser, as in a browser tab.
Before
- The click reached the link (the page did not block it).
- A script of Tauri's opener plugin, which the app registered, caught the click and asked the plugin to open the link.
- The page may not call that plugin (by design, it may only move the window), so the request failed silently.
- Cmd+click skipped that script, which is why it worked.
After
- The app no longer registers the plugin; it only uses its function to start the browser.
- The click goes to the app's own link handling, which already opened every outside link and new window in the default browser.
- Links to Obeya's own pages (files an agent attached) open in the browser signed in, as before with Cmd+click.
Checked in the real app (macOS)
Built from this branch against a scratch Obeya with a card whose agent message holds a link; a real mouse click was sent into the app's window.
before: click on <A> (not prevented) → the app hears nothing, no browser
after: click on <A> (not prevented) → app: open in browser https://example.com/…
The same plugin script was in the Windows and Linux builds, so the fix applies there too. Your installed “Obeya (checkout)” app rebuilds itself once this is on main; after that, a plain click on a link should open it.
